Message from Father Joseph Kolek
Dear Friends,
On behalf of the community of Resurrection Parish, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, I thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. I hope that it gives you a flavor of our church and provides sufficient information to encourage you to visit and worship with us next Sunday. While you are making up your mind you should consider the following:
Perfect People Need Not Apply:
If you are a looking for a church filled with perfect people, then I am sorry to report that we don’t have them! You see, nobody is perfect – only Jesus Christ. But if you’re like us, and you can admit to your imperfection, then I think we are the perfect place for you. So join us in becoming one with Christ. It’s through Him and in Him and with Him that we begin to approach the perfection that is God’s greatest wish for us.
Meet Your Maker:
The Creator of all things makes Himself available to everyone who worships Him. Will you make yourself available to Him? We invite you to come into His presence. Join us as we receive Him into our hearts through Jesus Christ, His son, Our Lord.
Wanted…Dead or Alive:
It does not matter if you are now spiritually dead or spiritually alive. Either way, come to a church that welcomes you as you are. We are all on similar journeys, which lead us to our caring and supportive God, through His Son, Jesus Christ. He loves us all the same, without distinction, and calls us to prepare for an eternal life of joy and peace.
Sure….You Can Pray At Home:
Throughout the Bible, He calls us to worship together with others besides telling us to pray alone. Often we read how displeased God was with His people for not worshiping the way He wanted. We also read that, above all else, God is forgiveness and compassion. So please join us in the worship of our Lord as we respond to His call in faith and seek to be united as one family in His Son, Jesus Christ.

I will think of you in my prayers, all of you who, anonymously, have visited this virtual representation of Resurrection Parish. I hope that we will meet again, soon, in worship and fellowship.
God Bless you,
Father Joseph Kolek
